Sharleen Sullivan: Director of Legal Services and General Counsel
Sharleen Sullivan is the Director of Legal Services and General Counsel for FCASV. She is a former prosecutor with over 11 years of experience in criminal law. During her tenure as an assistant state attorney, she handled all career criminal cases, as well as most sexual assault cases involving both children and adults. Ms. Sullivan started her career in civil practice in Florida, handling construction litigation and probate cases. Her family then relocated to North Carolina in 2009 where she started her prosecutorial career and prosecuted in two different counties, Union County and Forsyth County. While in North Carolina, Ms. Sullivan tried 33 felony jury trials including homicides, child sex cases and habitual offenders and over 100 misdemeanor trials, as well as served in the human trafficking multi-disciplinary task force. Her family relocated back to Florida in 2016 and she continued her prosecutorial career with the 7th Circuit State Attorney’s Office. While at the 7th SAO, Ms. Sullivan has tried 27 felony jury trials including homicides, child sex cases and career criminal cases.
Ms. Sullivan attended NOVA Southeastern University and received her J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law. In her spare time, Ms. Sullivan enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at her kids events, the beach and spending as much time outdoors as she can.
